Workshop Controller – Porsche Centre Brisbane

A unique opportunity exists for an experienced Workshop Controller with dealership experience to facilitate workshop operations within our prestige facilities at Newstead.
Key Responsibilities
 
  • Create, monitor and maintain a safe, enjoyable and productive working environment
  • Manage a team of Qualified and Apprentice Technicians to deliver quality workmanship, productively and efficiently through strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Ensure all tasks including service, maintenance, diagnosis and repair works are performed in line with brand policy, procedure and compliance requirements
  • Allocate and oversee Workshop tasks in line with communicated completion time frames.
  • Monitor and manage Workshop activity to ensure profitability is maximised
  • Understand and represent the Porsche brand in appropriate manner
  • Comfortably and professionally liaise with customers and their concerns.
  • Encourage and organise communication of Workshop team members through regular meetings
 
The successful applicant must be a fully qualified Technician and be conversant in the role required. A strong emphasis will be placed upon organisational capability combined with the ability to communicate effectively with manufacture, staff and clientele alike.

Service Advisor – Porsche Centre Brisbane
 

Porsche Centre Brisbane has a unique opportunity for a dedicated Service Advisor to join our prestige facility located at Newstead.
 
Working amongst a small team of professionals the successful applicant must demonstrate a high level of customer relationship skills whilst being able to coordinate with technical staff and workshop operations.
 
Key responsibilities
 
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with all Service customers, face to face and via phone and email.
  • Demonstrate strong organisational skills by processing repairs orders and invoices in timely manner while monitoring repair progress and communicating with the Service Centre in regards to agreed completion times.
  • Provide informed, justified advice to customers in regards to servicing requirements, products, quoting and invoicing
  • Ensure that all Service customers receive a high level of customer service, remain completely satisfied and receive their desired outcome throughout their dealings with the Service Centre
  • Understand and represent the Porsche brand in an appropriate professional manner

An ability to follow core processes is essential for this role as the successful candidate will receive Porsche factory training leading to global certification. Previous dealership experience with Pentana systems is an advantage. Remuneration subject to experience level.
